Big Mac Taco

Big Macs are awesome, however the real version has a lot of sugar in it, and the patties are too thin, and honestly I think if we make it ourselves it will be so much better, and honestly this turned out so amazing my wife and Alex won’t stop begging me to make it again and its only been a few days!

Phase 1 The Sauce

About 1 cup of mayo – Do not us e miracle whip, its garbage, best if you can mayo with olive oil.
A few drops of apple cyder vinegar
A few spoons of sweet hotdog relish (If you don’t have that you can use a sweet pickled cut up idealy in a food processor first.)
A few squirts of a nice BBQ Sauce
Do not add ketsup! (too much sugar)
Add some Smoked Paprika
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Mix it up really good

Phase 2 The Beef


Make some skinny burgers, you do want to fold this into a taco later, so you don’t want a super thick burger patty
And then cook your patties, maybe a bit of pepper but not much else.
Put some cheese on the top when you flip it once until it melts.

Phase 3 Putting it together
You can use a taco shell soft or hard, or you can get a tortilla shell
Put your patty in the taco
Pour some sauce into it
Have some chopped onion on it
Then some chopped lettuce
Maybe some more sauce

This is best served with some French fries, but its your choice!

We hope you like this, it is definitely one of our favorites, tastes great and best yet its super healthy, and you can use chicken or pork if you like, we have a room mate who won’t eat beef or pork, so we made hers from chicken, and wow it was awesome!

Hot Chicken Sandwich

You need to try our hot chicken sandwich, very tasty, easy to make and wow its amazing!

Phase 1 The Chicken

Chop your chicken up so your happy with how it will go into a sandwich
Oil a pan and start cooking it up
Add some spices, we used
Smouldering Applewood
Red pepper flakes
Cuming
Tumeric
Smoked Paprika and Onion
Cardimon
Mix the spices well and cook until done

Phase 2 The Gravy


Chop up some mushrooms thinly
Add your gravy mix
Add some mustard

Phase 3 Putting It Together


Take a slice of bread and put chicken on top of it
Put a slice of bread on top
Pour some gravy on top

Sea Food Chowder

Sea Food Chowder is a totally Atlantic Canadian dish, we absolutely love making this and we all have our own versions, this is ours, and we really love it! Its rich, tasty, and so easy to make!

Phase 1 The Hard Veggies

very finely chipped carrots and potatoes, boiled for 20 minutes on medium

Drain. And add and mix some Tajin over it.

Phase 2 Making The Chowda

Cut up 2 celery stalks very small and thing and then 1 onion.

In a large pot put on medium heat add the following.

Add the carrots and potatoes in a large pot.

Add the celerey and onion on top.

Add lots of pepper (Ground black pepper is the best)

Add some chicken, or vegitable stalk, if you don’t have this use water.

Chop up some haddack and put it in.

Add your sea food mix, should be chopped up, scallops, lobster, shrimp, any ocean fish.

Add 2 cans of cream of corn.

Add 1 liter of 2% milk.

Mix it up well and make sure the sea food isn’t mixing.

Add some dill.

Add some smoked paprika and onion.

Add some sage.

More fresh cracked pepper.

Stir it up really well, and let simmer for 10-20 minutes.

Let this cool for a few minutes as you will burn your mouth, serve with some crackers or a nice roll!

Iced Tea!

A quick and easy refreshing drink, one that everyone can enjoy and very very tasty!

In a very large pot, start boiling water

Peal 1 or 2 lemons for the zest and get the juice from 2 lemons.

At boiling point put in 5 tea bags, if you don’t want it to be as strong put 3 or 4 tea bags in.

Put in 4 Star Anasee seeds in.

Dump the lemon peals

Dump the lemon juice in

Dump a few tea spoons of cinnimon

Let this steep for 5 minutes, and if you don’t like it so strong, stop steeping in 3 to 5 minutes.

At this point take it off the heat, and remove the Star Anasee, lemon peels (If you used cinnimon sticks remove those too) and then let it cool to room temperature

If you live in a cold place you can sit it outside for a bit.

When its cooled, you can put this in your fridge and drink when you want it, when your ready to serve just put some ice cubes and enjoy.

This is a very simple dish, you can use some cream or milk, if you so wish you can use sugar to sweeten it, and you can use what ever tea bag you want, it tastes great, and so simple.

Homemade Feta Cheese

This was an awesome, fun, easy and simple recipe, one I think everyone can enjoy, and everyone can make this!

You start with 4 litters of milk
Take a quarter drinking cup of milk in a cup
Pour the rest of the milk in a large pot and start cooking on medium heat and keeps stiring it
take 2 cups of plain yogurt into your cup of milk, and stir it up
Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon
Put in a bit of salt
Just before it starts boiling put in your milk yogurt mix
Soon it will start boiling, and you will see curds come up on top

Take a pot with some cheese cloth put on top and start scooping the curds into the cheese cloth

When its all in the cloth squeeze the liquid out to make your cheese dry.

Store in a dark warmish place for 24 hours.

After 24 hours put in the fridge and your good to go!

Super easy, good for salads, making poutine, a spread, or just a good snack, we hope you liked this!

Chili Burrito

Ever try Taco Bell and get disappointed? Too salty? To mushy, well it sounds to me as if someone needs to make their own, well, we did too, and this turned out amazing, and honestly it was quick simple and easy, very little effort and trust me it turned out amazing!

Phase 1 Chili Time!

Oil your pan lightly
Add in some ground beef
Add in 1 large or 2 small onions diced up
Break burger up so its very small
Keep mixing the burger and onion.

Add the following spices to your own taste
Mexican oregino
Ground cuming
Ground black pepper
Smoked Paprika and Onion
Chili powder
Mix the spices up fully and ensure that all your meat gets some love

Add a few drops of apple cider vinegar

Add 2 cups of water

Keep stiring as you add ingredients

Take a glass and add some corn starch in to make a slurry to thicken your sauce and add it to your mix

Cover and simmer for 5 minutes

Add 1 can of refried beans

Add 1 can of tomato paste

Add some adobe chipolte peppers (preferably diced up, if not, take some time and dice the peppers up first.)
If you can’t handle heat then please do not add them.

Let simmer for 10 minutes

Shred up half a block of cheese, (Do not buy pre shredded cheese, as it has a higher melting point and is has lots of chemicals and is not as good quality, or even better yet buy some higher quality cheese!)

Start slowly adding the cheese into the mix until cheese is melted, and then add more until its completely melted in.

Take it off the heat.

Phase 2 Serving

Take a tortilla wrap

Add some of the mix in the middle, add some sour cream, even better yet, Mexican sour cream, and then wrap it up, and serve it!

Homemade Dill Mustard Pickles

Pickles are awesome, they taste amazing, as a side, or something to put on your burgers, and they are super simple and easy to make, and best of all, it is cheaper than buying them! Why pay tons of money at the store when you can make them yourself and have them taste better!

Phase 1. The Brine.

3 cups of vinegar
Salt
2 spoons of brown sugar
Stir it up
Boil.
After its done simmering for 5 minutes, take off the heat and let it cool.

Phase 2. Prep and Ingredients.

Cucumbers – Cut up the way you want your pickles to look!
3 cloves of garlic minced
Fresh dill
Mustard seed

Phase 3. Stuff the Containers!

Put some dill leaves on the bottom
Dump some dill seed on top
Put some garlic
Fill your container half way with cucumbers
Put more dill
Put more mustard seed
Place more garlic
Put more cucumbers in
The rest of the dill
Put more mustard seed
Put the rest of the garlic

Phase 4. Finish it Up.

Once the brine is totally cooled off fill your containers.

Put this in your fridge for 7 days and your done and ready to snack!

And thats all it basically is, for the most part you can get most of these ingredients super cheap and easy, and who doesn’t like homemade, it is always better!

Homemade Eggrolls Pineapple Sweet and Sour Sauce

This is our homemade eggrolls, which turned out great, and super easy and cheap to make, along with our tangy sweet and sour pineapple sauce, honestly this was a great time, and is going to be a great meal for today.

Phase 1 The Egg Rolls

3 carrots
quarter of a cabbage
4 cloves of garlic
Ginger cut to the size of a thumb
Put through a food processor

Garlic food processed first, start cooking in an oiled panned.

Put the rest in the food processor

Add in a pound of ground turkey to the pan and cook and break it up until its in small pieces.

Add in the rest of the veggies mix, Add in a few drops of hot sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, light and dark soya sauce and cook it until everything is all cooked.

Let it cool when done.

Once its cooled down take a wraper paint some water in an L shape along the sides.

We Air fried ours, so pre heat your air fryer to 350 degrees, and lets get back to wrapping our eggrolls!

Please watch the videos on how to wrap them, and you want to be sure to get the largest wrapper,

When your ready to cook, spray a bit of oil over all sides.

When the air fryer is ready to go, cook for 7 minutes, and then flip, then air fry for another 5 minutes on the other end and thats done, now all thats left is the sauce.

Phase 2 Saucy!

This is our Pineapple Sweet and Sour Sauce

We take some water, and put some corn starch in it and mix well.

In a pot take 2 cans of pineapple, and leave the juice in.

Add some water to it.

You want to keep mixing as you add things in.

Add some cinimin.

Add some red chili flakes.

Add some rice vinegar.

You need something sweet, but I would add some honey, rather than sugar.

Let simmer for 5 minutes.

You may need to put this through a blender to make it as smooth to your liking.

Let cool and your good to go!

Turkey Burger!

This is our homemade turkey burger, it has an amazing taste, and very flavorful, and yet so easy to make and this will be one of your families favorite go to burgers! We are sure you are going to enjoy this! Best part you don’t need an egg, nor do you need any bread crumbs to make this stay together!

Phase 1 Patty Time

In a bowl mix in the following

1 pound of ground turkey
Worcestershire sauce
Sweet soya sauce
Liquid smoke
Smoked Paprika
Maple Bacon spice
Fresh Black Pepper
Onion Powder
Lo-Salt (or No Salt)

Take your time and mix this with clean hands until everything has been mixed in properly and then this should make 3 patties.

Set the patties in the freezer for at least 15 to 30 minutes to firm up.

Phase 2 Lets get saucy!

In a bowl mix the following.

Mayo
Apple Cyder Vinegar
Mustard
Sweet Thai Chili sauce
Mix this very well.

Phase 3 Lets get cooking

Cook the burgers on the stove top with some oil until the burgers are completely cooked, you don’t want to food poison anyone!

Phase 4 Putting things together!

You want to serve this with a nice bun, using some lettuce, cheese, onion and your done!
